Wall remnants at the Parliament of Trees at Alexanderufer
After the Wall fell, the artist Ben Wagin transformed a long section of Border Wall 75 that stood on the Kapelleufer embankment into the Parliament of Trees. Some parts of the landmarked Parliament of Trees have been integrated into the Bundestag buildings. The Berlin Wall Foundation was entrusted with caring for the main section of the memorial in 2021.
