Border Wall Railway Line at Bombardierwerk
Inner wall on the former railway of the Bombardierwerk at the Oder-Havel Canal in Hennigsdorf
The remnants of the inner wall stand on the industrial grounds of the Bombardierwerk, formerly VEB Lokomotivbau, on the Oder-Havel Canal. The area extends to the railroad embankment in the north and the Walter-Kleinow Ring in the south. In the GDR the area was completely walled in and heavily secured. The track ran parallel to the railway embankment here and had its own gate. The Wall remnants still exist today.
