Inner wall element at the foundation wall of a aparment building in Pankow
The Wall element is now part of the foundation wall of a residential building on Schulzestraße in Pankow. It was not unusual for apartment buildings to be integrated into the Wall construction. The border wall ran north of the Wollankstraße S-Bahn station, and curved westward at the corner of Schulzestraße. The apartment building stood on this corner. The colored markings on the foundation wall marked the border line.
