Wall memorial in the Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders House
As part of the downsizing of the "Parliament of Trees memorial against war and violence" initiated by Ben Wagin, segments of the rear barrier wall designed by him were integrated into the new Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders-Haus building. They bear the dates from 1961 to 1989 and document the fatalities at the inner-German border in each respective year. The wall sections are integrated into the building complex as a memorial and follow the historical course of the border.
