Flower Pot Barrier at Esplanade
Flower pot barrier in front of the border strip at the end of Dolomitenstrasse
At the southern end of Dolomitenstrasse at the Esplanade intersection in Pankow, two flower pot barriers still exist on a bike path leading to the railway underpass. Behind this spot was an access gate to the border strip. The barriers were intended to prevent vehicles from breaking through and to provide additional security for the border strip.
